Understanding how to raise your vibration may sound like some pseudo-spiritual woo woo, ‘mumbo jumbo’. But it actually has its origins in Physics. Physics teaches us that everything has a vibration -water, air, solids everything.
I read a quote in The Hippies Were Right: It’s All about Vibrations, Man! that reads, “All things in our universe are constantly in motion, vibrating. Even objects that appear to be stationary are in fact vibrating, oscillating, and resonating, at various frequencies. Resonance is a type of motion, characterized by oscillation between two states..” I couldn’t agree more! Moreover, everything vibrates at a different frequency.
The human body has physiological vibrations or rhythms. They are the rhythms and beats of the heart, the ebb, and flow of our breathing, and the circadian rhythm of our sleep cycle. These vibrations create Electromagnetic waves which can affect the way our bodies function.
What I am saying is, each molecule in our body literally vibrates! What’s more, if a condition is altered so does the vibration. For example, temperature can change our vibration. Have you ever seen someone shiver when cold? Also, emotions can change our vibration on a cellular level. Have you ever felt your heart racing when anxious? It is for these reasons that experts believe that we can control our vibrations through emotions and attitudes.
Over the years, having a “High vibration” has become synonymous with a positive, pleasant, peaceful, or upbeat attitude, thoughts, behavior, or demeanor.
In contrast, low vibrational energy feels heavy, dark, sad, and negative. Moreover, many believe having a high vibration is a precursor to manifesting your dream life.
How to Raise Vibration
Raising your vibration means participating in activities that bring you to a place of peace, joy, clarity, fulfillment, balance, and stability. You want to experience these emotions because they allow your body to operate the way it was intended.
Your physiological reactions never waiver out of alignment.
You will not be interrupted with spikes of anxiety unnecessarily. No, you just are. And by operating the way you were intended to, you thrive. You do not experience lifestyle diseases, you do not experience mental illness. Your attitudes, physiological reactions, and chemistry stay stable, steady, consistent, and balanced. You are healthy.
In this, you see that our desire to “Raise our Vibration” is really a desire to live in balance.
But How?
Letting Go of the Past – The past does not exist anymore. Staying there will only cause you more heartache because you cannot do anything about your experiences. This can entice feelings of guilt, regret, and shame. All of which is low, heavy, and negative. Let go so you can create space for lighter happier memories.
Healthy Relationships -Having a healthy support system is essential in being well adapted in life. Building relationships make you feel supported and assured.
Organization– Organizing helps you stay focused on one task at a time. Being organized is a way to usurp feelings of overwhelm and even anxiety. It’s something you can control that will help create peace within your life. Anything that assists with that is worth doing.
Prayer/Meditation– Using prayer or meditation to become more mindful and present is a wonderful way to raise your vibration. By giving your mind a break from worries and stressors so that you can just be in the moment. Many people find this cathartic and useful in raising their vibration.
Diet – What we put in our bodies can either fuel the life we want or disrupt us. The fuel we need allows our bodies to operate in a balanced manner.
The above are just a few methods because raising your vibration is a multi-faceted endeavor that requires multiple elements. Some methods are used to affect us mentally, some externally and some are needed to influence us on a molecular level. Regardless of the method. They should all result in a balanced human with the ability to succeed in being exactly who they were always supposed to be.

Having a high vibration may help you manifest your dream life. I believe it’s because those who are high vibrational have a certain aura about them. A charisma or attitude that makes them magnetic. So much so that what they are chasing, begins to chase them too.
They effortlessly invite positive outcomes into their lives.
Having a ‘high-vibe’ attitude oftentimes inspires others to do more for you simply because you make them feel more positive too. This is certainly helpful when much of what we want has to come through one individual or another.
Your boss may favor you over a coworker because your attitude is simply better.
When interacting with customer service workers you may be served in a more friendly manner because you have a pleasant attitude.
Sparks internal motivation
Perhaps it’s the positive attitude that keeps you focused on a goal and helps maintain your internal motivation to accomplish what you want out of life. The correct attitude can ignite a sense of accountability around accomplishing your goals.
Alters mood
There is a synergetic relationship between your physical and molecular bodies when you begin to vibrate higher.
Factors such as eating a balanced diet, getting exercise, and controlling your thoughts, all work together to keep your person in balance, thus raising your vibration and consequently your mood.
It’s a beautiful thing. And having a good mood certainly makes life more enjoyable.

Food has the ability to raise your vibration by affecting your body on a molecular level. Certain foods such as fruits and vegetables tend to lower blood pressure, blood sugar and so much more.
The power of food can not be understated. Why?
Vegetables have within them the power of the sun. The sun itself has solar energy and is one of the main sources that literally keeps us alive here on earth.
I don’t think I need to convince you that being in good health can help you raise your vibration. Because its common sense. Incorporating more vegetables can help reduce inflammation and lessen the chances of lifestyle diseases such as diabetes and hypertension. When you have these illnesses there are a lot of times when you just don’t feel your best. And remember, feeling low, negative, and lethargic are all associated with low vibrations.
Yikes.

As I’ve alluded to above, you really have the power to raise your vibration. Behaviors and attitudes have long been thought to be a foundation for long-term health and vitality. Therefore, raising your vibration means addressing your own thoughts and adjusting them accordingly
Sorry, I know this may not sound as juicy as you were expecting. However, the reality is we are completely autonomous when it comes to how we experience the world.
So take control today and commandeer those thoughts that serve you no good.
How To Raise Your Vibration When Depressed
There can be conditional depression and medical depression. First and foremost it’s imperative to identify which one you are dealing with in your life. Always seek medical help if you are having thoughts of harming yourself and others. In other instances, many people may experience situational depression from time to time based on situations in their lives. Regardless we can raise our vibration when depressed.
But How?
Acknowledge and accept:
The struggle here is that depression often creates an internal environment that constantly ruminates negative thoughts. This means that you must first acknowledge that your thoughts are harmful.
Take Small Steps and celebrate wins:
You need to take small steps toward raising your vibration. For example, you can clean your entire room, or clean a small portion. If you don’t feel like going out with friends, go for a walk down the street. Show up for yourself slowly and celebrate these little wins.
Exercise
Moving your body can help you feel better due to the rush of endorphins you feel when you work out. These hormones can hijack your brain and make you feel pretty ok.
Eat Well.
Ever felt really crappy after eating a large pizza and soda? This sluggish feeling is also low vibration. You don’t have to feel like this. You can eat in a way that rarely makes you feel sluggish, or bloated. Eating fresh vegetables and organic food can help you maintain the high vibe your aiming for especially during a depressive episode.

Be Patient
Manifesting is the process of bringing your goals and dreams into your life. The thing about manifesting is that you have to set your intentions and work toward your goals every day. What a lot of people don’t realize is that this also requires patience and faith.
Impatience can spark low vibrational emotions like frustration and anger that your situation is not changing as quickly as you thought it would. These low vibrations are counterintuitive to what you’re actually trying to do.
Understanding that what you seek is seeking you and will fall into your life in perfect timing will help you maintain high vibrational energy while manifesting.
Set Goals
Goal setting helps you tremendously when manifesting. This is because you can tangibly see the fruits of your labor. Set small realistic goals and celebrate them along the way. Even reward yourself as you accomplish these goals. Raising your vibration first thing in the morning allows you to set the tone for the day. Here are a few ways to start your day off with a high vibe.
Eat A healthy breakfast.
As mentioned earlier, eating healthy is very important in helping you raise your vibration. It’s even more important to monitor what you consume first thing in the morning. The food you eat can help you feel energized and ready to take on the world, or it can make you feel lethargic.
Monitor what you eat always but especially in the AM.
Affirmations
These are positive statements meant to help you think more positively by combatting negative thoughts. Using them in the morning can be a good way to help you rewire your brain right away so you can find the positive even in the negative moments in your day.
